What: 26th Annual Carolina/Clemson Blood Drive
All University of South Carolina and Clemson University students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans are encouraged to participate. Blood can be donated at USC or Clemson. All presenting blood donors at the University of South Carolina will receive a commemorative long-sleeve blood drive T-shirt and a variety of free food. The coveted blood drive trophy will be awarded to the winning team at the game on Nov. 27 at “Death Valley” (Clemson Memorial Stadium).
When: November 15-19, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: Russell House Ballroom (1400 Greene Street, 2nd Floor)
Blood can be safely donated every 56 days. Most healthy people age 17 and older, or 16 with parental consent, who weigh at least 110 pounds, are eligible to donate blood. Donors who are 18 and younger must also meet height and weight requirements. Call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org for more information.
